What is an intermittent problem?
An intermittent fault, often called simply an "intermittent", is a malfunction of a device or system that occurs at intervals, usually irregular, in a device or system that functions normally at other times. Intermittent faults are common to all branches of technology, including computer software, any devices connected to local area networks, power supply, and electricity flickers.
TV and Internet Providers participate in updating their services, cable connections along the power lines and frequently updating firmware their modems and gateway (modem - router) in home devices.
How do I improve the security of my home network?
Update your software regularly.
Remove unnecessary services and software.
Adjust factory-default configurations on software and hardware.
Change default log-in passwords and usernames.
Use strong and unique passwords.
Run up-to-date antivirus software.
What is the best way to secure my network devices ?
An uninterruptible power supply can save data during an outage, and a surge protector can prevent damage from a surge. Surge protectors absorb or ground overvoltage from spikes. Each time a surge protector does its job, resulting damage can reduce effectiveness for the next surge.
Lightning storms pose an even greater danger to computers. The safest way to avoid damage to your electronic devices is to unplug them during a lightning storm. Unplugging during a power outage is not as crucial, especially if you have a surge protector.
What does a "lost internet connection" error message mean?
Restart your modem and/or router at the host computer's location. Some connection issues can be resolved by simply restarting the modem and/or router. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Contact your provider for any service outages or disruptions then contact us.
Device Malfunction
What does a Device Malfunction?

How do you plan a network infrastructure?
A typical network infrastructure planning strategy should include the following:
Determine the requirements of the organization and its users, and then document these requirements.
Define a performance baseline for all existing hardware devices.
Define a baseline for network utilization as well.
